These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Legacy Four Events website and your registration for or attendance at events managed or produced by Legacy Four Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Legacy Four Events (“Legacy Four,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms.
01Who We Are
Legacy Four produces in-person, virtual, and hybrid events and provides event planning, production, and registration services for organizations, ministries, and businesses. In many cases we act on behalf of an event host, the organization presenting the event. Where that is the case, the event host is responsible for the event’s content, program, and speakers, and its own policies may also apply.
02Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or submit false information. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
03Client Services & Proposals
Information on this website about our services and packages is general and is not an offer. Event planning, production, and registration services for clients are provided under a separate written proposal or service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement controls for that engagement. Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote.
04Registration, Tickets & Payment
- You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your confirmation details secure.
- Prices, fees, and taxes are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors and are subject to their terms.
- Registrations are personal unless the event allows transfers. Transfer and substitution rules are stated on each event’s registration page.
- We may cancel registrations that appear fraudulent, duplicated, or in violation of these Terms.
05Refunds & Cancellations
Refund and cancellation policies are set for each event and are displayed on that event’s registration page and in your confirmation. Unless an event’s stated policy says otherwise, registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferable to another attendee. If an event is canceled by the host or by Legacy Four and not rescheduled, registered attendees will receive a refund of registration fees paid. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you incur.
06Changes to Events
Programs, speakers, performers, schedules, venues, and formats may change. We or the event host may move an in-person event to a virtual or hybrid format when needed for safety, venue, or other reasons outside our reasonable control. Such changes do not entitle attendees to a refund unless the event’s stated policy provides otherwise.
07Attendee Conduct
We want every guest to feel welcome and safe. You agree to treat attendees, speakers, staff, volunteers, and venue personnel with respect and to follow venue rules and staff instructions. Harassment, discrimination, threats, disruption, and unlawful behavior are not tolerated, in person or in virtual chats. We may remove anyone who violates these standards from an event or virtual platform without a refund.
08Photography, Recording & Consent
Events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, and recorded. By attending, you grant Legacy Four and the event host permission to capture and use your image, likeness, voice, and public comments in event recordings and promotional materials, in any media, without compensation. Unless an event says otherwise, you may not record sessions, presentations, or livestreams for redistribution without written permission.
09Virtual Event Access
Access links for virtual events are for the registered attendee only and may not be shared. You are responsible for your own internet connection and equipment. We do our best to deliver a smooth broadcast but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Replays, when offered, are available for the period stated by the event.
10Intellectual Property
The Legacy Four name, logo, website design, text, graphics, and images are owned by or licensed to Legacy Four Enterprises, LLC and are protected by law. Event content belongs to the event host or presenters. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials or event content without written permission.
11Third-Party Services
We work with venues, hotels, caterers, streaming platforms, payment processors, and other providers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of independent third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their terms.
12Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
Attendance at in-person events involves ordinary risks, including those associated with travel, crowds, and public gatherings. You attend voluntarily and are responsible for your own health, belongings, and conduct. Please share any accessibility needs during registration so we can make reasonable accommodations.
13Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Four Enterprises, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website or an event registration will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the registration giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legacy Four Enterprises, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct at an event.
16Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, government orders, labor disputes, power or internet outages, venue closures, or acts of violence or terrorism.
17Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any legal action that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
18General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any event-specific policies, are the entire agreement between you and us about their subject. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
